With increasing fuel costs nationwide and the need for more fuel efficient sources of transportation companies, Sunset Vans is proud to introduce its new ADA compliant Transit Connect Packages to answer those concerns. With its gas mileage at up to 28 MPG, the Ford Transit Connect is a great alternative to full size vans. The Transit Connect packages can fit up to 5 passengers and up to 1 wheelchair. This product was designed with taxi companies, nursing homes, adult day health care centers, NEMT companies, and even the personal user in mind.

The Transit Connect mobility conversion offers a lowered floor rear entry ramp conversion, which is ADA compliant. The rear manual folding ramp is counter-balanced, to ensure people of all strengths and sizes can easily deploy the ramp. When the ramp is folded in the rear, it stores flat so the rear of the vehicle can be used for a full rear storage area, with approximately the same amount of space as the standard Transit Connect Wagon. Each unit has a first aid kit, flat tire kit and fire extinguisher. The rear wheelchair restraints include two (2) electric self-retracting wheelchair tie-downs, and two auto-tensioning wheelchair restraints for the rear anchors.
